POPPIES BLOWING IN THE WIND
We went to the garage at 8 o'clock. With a computer our car was read (!) and it turned out that a valve was not working well.
We got another car for the moment and drove home again.
After some time we drove to Meinbrexen, to walk around and look for all kinds of dragon- and damselflies. There were so many, but all dallying and hardly pausing. Some of the the dragonflies were lying eggs in the water. Too far away however for a good photo.
The poppies were nearer to our home, just around the supermarket.
When we came to the garage for the second time, we learned that another component had to be ordered and installed. That will happen tomorrow. In the meantime a friendly young lady drove us home.
A remarkable day.
I spoke to my sister and we will see if we will visit her this week or perhaps at the end of August. The weather takes a great part in that decision.
My haiku:
Poppies, red poppies
Let your heads blow in the wind
It would do me good
The blue is not the sky here, but the stones of the road.
And the proverb:
As slender in the middle as a cow in the waist.
