The Velvet Underground and Nico

I first bought this LP in 1980 or 81, and always thought that side 2 sounded a bit underdone - a bit quiet.  I saw this in our local record shop today and couldn't resist it - glad about that as it all sounds much clearer and fresher (even my first copy sounded like you could hear the room they were in, this one more so).

Playing it was a bit like meeting an old friend and hearing the same old stories that make you laugh - this sounded just as exciting as the day I first bought it.

And now it looks good too.
