Not to scale!
Funny the things you discover about your OH after over 20 years together.
Like, how if you're drawing plans for your new kitchen on graph paper it absolutely HAS to be to scale and in proportion from the get go...rather than lets-just-get-all-the-measurements-written-down-and-then-we-can-draw-a-scale-version-afterwards. I won - clearly.
The most pleasing part of all of this malarkey was getting to use my late Dad's foldable wooden toolbox ruler. I had hours and hours of fun with it when I was a child and it makes me smile just to hold it again, remembering all the times he put it to use. Mind you, he'd have had to draw it to scale first time too...sorry Dad!
