Cowboy

Playing at home, then a little visit to Jenn’s Den for a while.  Jenn’s Den has loads of dressing up clothes and BabyCyclops loves this sparkly cowboy hat.

Later on we had to visit the paediatric audiologist, as when BabyCyclops was about two weeks old (i.e. not due to be born for another month) his hearing test was inconclusive.  So he was called in for a follow up today.  As with all of our experiences of the NHS for babies so far, they could not have been kinder.  It was very interesting – they looked in his ears a bit, then hooked him up to some wires and taught him a game where he got a reward (to look at fancy moving toys) if he looked to the side when he heard a sound.  He picked it up quickly and mainly kept the wires in (OK I held his hands down).  The verdict… normal hearing.  No surprise there, but good to have it confirmed I guess.  So no follow-up required.
