Piz Languard

..... was our destination for the day. It sits to the left of the photo, above this stunning wild valley renowned for its herds of ibex (see extra) and opposite the Bernina massif and its awesome peaks and glaciers.
We took full advantage of the local chairlift at the start and end of our route and the hut which sits (incredibly) a mere 15 minutes from the rocky summit and serves the local barley soup.
