Midsummer Pole in Vattkast

The second lovely day in Korppoo. We bought vegetables from the local farm and there was this massive cloud above the greenhouse, a light halo around the sun and midsummer pole. 


In Swedish speaking parts of Finland, midsummer pole appears at the Midsummer celebrations. The traditions surrounding the maypoles vary locally, but the design featuring a cross and two rings is most common nowadays. 


We spent a relaxing day at the villa and also started our art works. In the evening sauna, jacuzzi,& swimming routine.
