Grey Heron

On our last full day in Skipton we took a trip in a canal boat along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal. This heron was on the canal bank and every time the boat drew level it would take off and land further along the canalside. Sadly I didn't manage to get a decent picture of it in flight.

After the boat trip we went upto the castle and grabbed some lunch before exploring. A quick visit to Holy Trinity church followed before heading back to the house for our last holiday meal together (take out fish suppers).
