Daisy

I was given some flowers at the weekend and have used one of them for today's blip.  A photograph keeps the flower fresh for ever.  The other day I came across a list of 'challenges' to kick start creativity and one idea was to take something ordinary and photograph it in many different ways.  So I used lots of different lenses and got many different effects as a result, also shooting from contrasting angles and distances. It was fun.

This one is achieved with my 105mm macro plus a 12mm extension tube at f2.8.  I love the contrast of focus with the shallow depth of field. One shot through a tumbler was interesting but I'll save that effect for Abstract Thursday!
