Jones-Mitchell House (1849, 1870)
Built for Jane Jones, this house was remodeled in the Italianate style during the ownership of Benjamin Mitchell and wife, Sarah Swann.  Mitchell was a partner in the firm of Mitchell and Huggins, grain dealers.  The house remained in the family until 1931.
