This morning I read, listened to a sermon, bought some books, read some controversial articles, sent some emails and swam.

This evening we ate at an Italian restaurant and then got a fistful of DVDs from hotel reception. First up has been August: Osage County. What an intense, depressing, absorbing film with some extraordinary performances from Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts. There were some fiery exchanges including Barb(JR) encouraging her mother Vi(MS) to eat her dinner being amongst our favourites. "Eat your fish bitch!" - it does fit in the context of the film...
