Morning Rainbow, Bennachie

Driving back home from Inverurie between half six and seven this morning, I first spotted this rainbow as I was climbing the hill from Balquhain up in to Chapel of Garioch.

Fortunately it was still quite visible as I pulled over in this familiar location the other side of the village - though it faded not long after!

Interestingly, it was only as I got out of the car to take this photograph that I first became aware of the lightest of raindrops falling...
