Date night

Once every so often, now we don't have any children living at home to cater for, we go out for an evening meal. It has been a while since we have done this.......... so a nice treat tonight. We went to a nearby restaurant/pub, they had a treat Tuesday special on - if you have a main meal from the specials you get a starter or pudding free. I also had a voucher for a complimentary starter or pudding. Win/win situation.

I have been to this place a couple of times and always raved about the beef rib and pulled pork meal, so this was hubby's meal. As you can see he devoured the meal.

Once home, Lili had her nose in my handbag (containing the rib bone). She had a good chew on it ......... but then I read that dogs shouldn't be given cooked bones as they shatter and splinter causing lots of health problems. Bone removed to the bin - much to Lili's disgust..............

Lovely end to a relaxing day.
