Biscuit

We are off to Turkey on Thursday and with the holiday approaching, there seems to be much to sort out....little things, like making sure all the plants are watered, charging up batteries, sorting out stuff for J. who will be looking after our house, the garden and our cats while we are away, and a host of other small details.
In the midst of it all, Biscuit went AWOL. We didn't really worry about it for over 24 hours because she has done this a few times before and generally comes back the following day. Only she didn't. On the evening of the second day, and with only three days to go till we fly, we started to feel anxious. Cue lots of activity, wandering around the village hollering "Puss, puss, puss" at the top of our lungs and making enquiries with neighbours. Still no sign. Home and making a "Have you seen our cat?" poster on the computer. 
Yesterday morning when HL got up, there was Biscuit in the front garden. It was quite a relief.
Probably won't get around to much more blipping or commenting for a while. We will have wifi in Turkey though I have no idea how well it works  - wouldn't surprise me if it's an improvement on the rural broadband in North Norfolk...
