Shadow is your canvas and light is your paint

I finally have my Nikon D610 back. I only did one shoot with it and the AF lever broke on it so they have replaced it thankfully. It behaves beautifully in low light situations and I've been having a little play with it again this evening along with my 85mm lens. I love Cliff Mautner's work and took this using his philosophy that shadow should be your canvas and light your paint. Photography is after all just painting with light, it's a wonderfully sharp lens and camera and I can't wait to get stuck in and use this camera to it's full capabilites. Going to take a bit of finding my way around I think, but am hoping I can find my feet with it relatively quickly :-)
