Wild life day

As I drove out of the village I came across this deer walking up the road. I stopped the car concerned that it would run away and on to the main road a couple of hundred meters away. It carried on walking towards me until I opened the window then it sprang into the hedgerow.
In the evening while walking with Mollie I saw something dart across our path. When I reached a gap in the field there was a red fox sitting waiting for me. I think she was very hungry and didn't want to run away Mollie was not sure about this "dog" so kept by my side. Shame I didn't have my camera.
