Driven

A meeting at the south coast office today, meant that I and two of my colleagues spent hours and hours in the car. We shared the driving and to support the driver of the moment, the passengers voiced words of encouragement such as 'are we there yet?' and 'I need the toilet!' The in-built satnav was equally encouraging, providing random 'ping-pings' along the way with no apparent reason and no apparent way to turn it off. After the pressing of many buttons however, it admitted defeat and was silenced.
