Wolfe Island

One of the most beautiful places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting.
 
That's the large family dock that Steven's father redesigned in the 1960's along with the old oats barn. Steve's great grandfather built the dock originally out of concrete and then his dad redesigned it in the 1960's using steel. It certainly was a good design because it's still going strong 50 years after the rebuild! 
 
Since we've been here on Wolfe Island we've gone out canoeing twice with the dogs and Steve has kayaked by himself to Simcoe Island while I kept the dogs and went to visit with his family. The small motorboat, 'Buzzy' that's been in the family for years has engine problems so we probably won't get that going while we are here. Can you imagine we are even more relaxed here than we are at home :o)
