By the cattle yards
It is such a cold, dull, cloudy, uninspiring day today and I am reluctant to venture elsewhere, having not had a day at home for a week. This is the landscape that greets us as we turn up our driveway to head off the property. I can't give you hills - we don't have any. The land has to be quite flat to allow flood irrigation, although we are now tending towards trickle and sprinkler watering to conserve this finite resource. However, I can give you an amazingly big sky. When it's blue, it's beautiful and at night our sky, usually clear and full of stars, is quite breathtaking. Well, today it is decidedly grey. Should I apologise for the weather? Looks better in Large, actually.
