Mushroom hunting

We went on a lab to learn about herbivory and forest succession by Carp Creek today. Beaver dams, balsam fir trees, and overgrown sedges. Naturalizing along the way I spotted pink lady slipper orchids, a crimson tanager, jack in the pulpits, and oyster mushrooms.
