Skriker

Back to the Royal Exchange Theatre, shrouded in trees, for the last of the Festival performances, The Skriker by Caryl Churchill  with Maxine Peake. She produced a magnificent performance and overshadowed her fellow actors somewhat. A skriker is an ancient fairy who can transform into different characters and mess up the lives of people she encounters. An exciting night!
