I had my nails done today. I was just admiring them.

Then I got to counting.

Counting down to departure

Counting my blessings

I spent some time today with a top pal and talked about the stuff in my head, Brenda 's imminent op, that I won't be there, the what ifs etc etc and what I'm coming back to.

So I realised

I've got people who care
I've got a holiday to go enjoy
I've got hope that Brenda gets a better quality of life that the surgeon's knife affords

I've got plenty good reasons to be happy.
