Charlotte

Just couldn't resist this pot of agapanthus , called Charlotte , when I saw it at the garden centre yesterday.
Not for me though, but a present for some friends.
I thought the name was appropriate , as their eldest daughter is called Charlotte.
We are off up to Hexham tomorrow to stay with them for a couple of days.
Will last longer than a bunch of flowers, and I thought it would look nice in their courtyard garden.
We are also looking forward to seeing their first grandson, Charlie.
He is now nearly two. I spent quite a long time looking round Toys R Us this afternoon.
It is a long time since I was in there!
Decided to buy him a remote control plane.
Age 2 to 3. Classed as a child's first remote control.
From what it says on the box,you press these two buttons and it flaps it's wings and makes a noise!
Sounds good! Hope he likes it.

Really looking forward to seeing J and S again, as we haven't seen them for almost two years. A lot of catching up to do!
We are back on Saturday night, and then Sunday is our walking club annual BBQ, so I may be away from blip for a few days.

Just had a text from J.
Charlie's mum , who is expecting again in August, has been rushed to hospital.
Baby may be on the way!
Visit may be have to be postponed. They will let us know tomorrow morning.
Just hope Charlotte is OK.
