Birthday Princess

We've had such a lovely day today celebrating P's and my dads birthdays.

We started the morning with a bit of CBeebies in our room. We were all surprised when the card I had made for P was shown just after Baby Jake. It was the first card of the day and P was so excited to see it on the TV.

We then had a lazy breakfast of pancakes and P opened all her presents and cards. She was given a birthday crown which she wore all day. Once ready to go out we met up with my mum and dad at Burghley House for a picnic. The weather wasn't great but we still had fun walking around the grounds and exchanging birthday gifts. We played Pooh sticks on the Lion Bridge and had fun watching the deer.

Once we got home Mr J's parents came round with even more presents! P didn't know where to turn first, but A gave her helping hand! She's had some lovely new toys and clothes and really has been very lucky. After tea we all had a slice of cake. P loved it, especially when she got to keep the Tinkerbell doll from middle. It was hard to cut into it after it had taken so long to make, but luckily it tasted good and everyone enjoyed it.
