The Usher Hall...

...is more picturesque than the Edinburgh Film house across Lothian Road where we went to see the very excellent and restored Carol Reed classic The Third Man. The chance to see Orson Welles, Joseph Cotton and Trevor Howard in a noir version of post war Vienna on a cinema screen was too good to miss.
