Pheasant on the roof

I was bringing my shopping in from the car, reached the back gate to hear a loud screech and flapping of wings.  I had disturbed a cock pheasant on the ground.  I am not sure who was more shocked him or me!  He flew with difficulty up on to the roof.  I managed to catch him with my iPhone so not very clear.
