I took a quick trip north last weekend to visit family and friends - it had been too long. We took walks along the water, ate good food, and had great conversations. Visiting my parents' graves, listening to my younger sister plan her retirement, and my sister-in-law share her excitement at beginning a drawing class were all special parts of the trip. I also got to nudge my best friend from High School to begin writing again!
