Don't Eat The Milky Way!
About 10.30pm I picked up my policeman friend, and part time pro-photographer, and headed to Brecon. The forecast was clear skies.
On the way we chatted about the state of the 'job' and lamented it was dying on it's knees with lack of funding like the health service and other emergency services.
We took a few of an orange moon going down but it was a bit too far away for my wide angle lens. My manual focus was out too!
The blip photo was taken at 12.07am of a quarry sign with the Milky Way galaxy behind it. It sort of sets it off.
By 1am the skies were dark and star photography was but a wish. At least we got a few before it clouded over. Forecast was wrong this time.
