When I was a teacher in Edinburgh and Concorde made occasional visits to the city I used to take my class onto the playiground to see it fly in and to listen to the ATC on a radio loudspeaker.

We got to East Fortune early so we had the hangar almost to ourselves. It will not be so empty on Saturday when Scotland's Air Show takes place there and in the skies over East Lothian.
