Our neighbour has built this in readiness for the arrival of a quad bike next week. The bike is a shared venture for John and our neighbour N. We looked at it a couple weeks ago on the way to Cumbria and made a 'rare' spur of the moment decision. BUY. It's a few years old and looks fine.

My experience with menfolk shows they enjoy make do and mend projects, they like nothing better than to produce something from nothing, see picture above. Part of this is acquiring wood for logs (and in N's case wood turning), cutting to size, splitting and stacking. All very methodical, the quad is to assist in the moving of logs.
