Citroen SM

On my way to Burnley today I spotted this rather fine example of a Citroen-Maserati SM in a lay-by - so, of course, I stopped to chat and blip.  Unfortunately the clutch had failed and he was waiting for a low-loader to transport it to a Citroen specialist for repair.
The Citroen SM had a 2.7 litre fuel injected V6 Maserati engine and a top speed of 140 mph - this was in the early 1970's.  
It was a very, very sophisticated motor car and unfortunately was quite a temperamental machine.  Production ceased in 1975.  
Such a rare classic - I have put two more blips in 'extras'.
