Natural Abstraction

My mother always despaired of me when it came to picture taking. She said I was always taking 'odd' photographs. I prefer to call them abstract! So here is  a piece of slate I picked up on the Isle of Luing, another 'odd'  photograph for Odd  Abstract Thursday. I love the idea of splitting the slate open and seeing something no-one has ever seen before and I love the colours and textures that are revealed inside. Now I live on the Jurassic Coast and I do the same with fossils.
