Inverness 2
I tried (unsucessfully) to remember where I'd taken my last blip of Inverness, to compare the pictures some 5 months later, but it didn't work as well. Poor photo and all!
Up early to catch the bus from Culbokie to Inverness, which turned out bing one of the longest feeling bus journeys ever, thanks to the chat of the ladies in front. Beryl just wouldn't shut up - she'd comment on everything from the rocks we'd drive past (Oh, I like those rocks, don't you) to how strange it was that some relative had married a frenchman. "He speaks perfect English though!"
These ladies had retired up here, and hadn't quite got to grips with the local tounge, as when Alan asked them about something they all looked blankly at each other and asked him to repeat it, before nodding uncertainly.
Met Keith for coffee, and pottered around before my train back to Edinburgh, where upon arrival I had to run home and get documents to bring to uni to be signed. The guy's only in 1 day a week, so I had to do it quick-sharp in 40 mins.
All done, round Hannah's with Sean for amazing pizza and salad, before
Marek joined us for the pub.
