Across the rooftops

Working at home on a fat pile of repetitious reading for a meeting tomorrow; documents full of maps by GIS bods with no design sense and/or wedded to weirdly distorting map projections (at 56°N, 1 minute of longitude is not the same surface distance as 1 minute of latitude - so why in the name of Mercator plot on a square lat/long grid??). Consequently, something of an emergency blip, which I hope does justice to the evening light and shadows.
