St James' Shere

To Shere today for lunch with a friend. We ate for the 1st time at The William Bray who, inter alia, is alleged to have made the 1st reference to palying base ball on 31st March 1755! The William Bray (v good food) is owned by Julian Bailey who as well as being an ex-formula one driver is also a Top Gear "Stig". So I learnt lots of new things today. However I still thought that a photo of the church was the best plan. I like the huge buttress that is propping up the entrance to the nave.
