Music at the Lighthouse
Warm summer evenings translates to open air activities. Tonight, we attended a Classical Concert at the Albir Lighthouse.
We enjoyed pieces for double bases, cellos and violins by Mozart, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky and others.
The group of young musicians have had an intensive week of studies and practices, and every day there has been a concert for the public.
Tonight it was held at the Lighthouse, and this meant that the 100 strong audience had to walk the 2.4km track to reach the Venue!
The evening was warm and there was a very welcome cooling breeze....which posed its own problems...how to keep sheet music on the stands!
