Holiday preparations have started today. Really looking forward to our week away 'glamping' and taking a break away from the modern world. Not sure how a 2.5 year old will be with that though. He hasn't ever really been one to be stuck in front of the TV or on a computer all day long, but he does like to watch a bit of TV before bed so feeling a bit anxious when his demands for octonauts or peppa pig are made.
Adult entertainment will mainly consist of playing cards, reading and chatting.
Due to the lack of electricity I went and got a few good old fashioned paperback books to take with me - really enjoyed this simple task. Shopping online at the kindle store is not as fulfilling as spending an age looking at all the books on the shelves!.
