Quarry on the hill

Another farm road shot from where I was brought up - over the last 60 odd years I have watched this red stone quarry carving out a larger area of the hillside. It was just the small part on the right when I was at school.
I liked the contrast with the green field with all its tramlines.

The extra photo shows a few of my brother's livery horses grazing in a field a short distance away.
