Bum deal
This is the only photo without kiddie faces. In the interests of having an easy life, I've hidden a bottom behind a circle of yellow bucket.
We continued our reputation-building exercise of showing up everywhere with Prosecco (in fact, with stolen Prosecco, which I'm sure makes it cooler - must remember to ask Mr B if we ever replaced all the 'borrowed' Prosecco from our hosts' fridge...) This time down south of the river to see my younger godson and his family. A gloriously wet time in their garden - with lots of children ending up going home in clothes they did not arrive in.
Great to hear too about all the progress my godson is making: learning to manage his own emotions and ask for what he needs (he has some issues, but the thought that he can learn to manage them himself at his very young age is quite extraordinary.)
Home then for a quiet evening (turns out last night was quite tiring - even without the toilet mopping incident), Deliverance food and a relatively early night. We used to have Deliverance takeaways (lots of different menus so everyone can have different things) a lot pre-TallGirl and when we were both working. The crispy duck brought back many happy memories of the orange flat and the blue sofa.
