Flektogon
Bit of a slow photography day, so this is a quick saver blip of a vintage lens I've been planning to play around with. We've had this sitting here for a while as it belonged to Mrs. G's late father who by all accounts was quite a photography buff himself many moons ago. He had a little case hidden away with a Praktica LTL3 SLR and a few lenses stored inside.
This little Zeiss 35mm 2.8 Flektogon caught my eye, so I picked up a cheap lens mount converter from good old ebay (Two Quid!) and bingo - good to go.
Only had a little tinker so far, but the images it produces are super sweet... beautiful bokeh, and lovely tones. It does have a definite vintage feel to it, but that's only a good thing, and the lens itself is beautiful too... all manual, but feels really nice to work with.
Could be the start of a vintage collection. We'll see. :)
