Walnuts

Yesterday my friend Ann asked if she could have some leaves from our walnut tree as it was going to be a theme at her quilting group.  I forgot so took a few photos to send her in the hope this would be helpful to her.

Anyway it made me think about our big old walnut tree as I tend to ignore it a bit.  It has lots of walnuts but they are not a good eating variety.  So the squirrels get most of them. It is a lovely tree, shame about the walnuts!
