Public Art or Handy Perch

I'm in delightful SoCal this evening attending the graduation of one of my VP's from a three year professional school. SoCal is delightful because it's cooler in July than Phoenix, particularly now that the sun is setting. I'm thankful because this is a jacket & tie gig.
Right now I'm having fun watching the professional photographer trying to capture the class photo from the 4th step of an aluminium ladder that's creaking and groaning like the death throes of the Titanic.
