Life cycles in the garden

The recently pruned cercis canadensis seems to hold some attraction for these pretty rosellas . The red blooms in the background are camellia japonica "Bob Hope" and the extras show an emerging Magnolia Iolanthe and something of a bug hotel in an internal garden fence around our orange grove.
