Is this fair?

Today poor Ms Epilepsy had a tonic clonic seizure in the very early morning. We were woken by a loud bang and rushing into her room, found that apart from the seizure itself, she'd dropped from standing, hit her head, and cut her mouth and tongue. So she could be forgiven for feeling woozy today.

Here she is - no, not not miserable,  but what they call post-ictal  - in other words, 'coming round' - two hours later.  Sixty minutes before her 2 hour Maths GCSE paper. Which can not be put off or rearranged  for  such minor trivialities as Ms Epilepsy's early morning antics.  

I suspect she will not 'fulfil her potential', as they say.

Yet imagine what the outcome for this exam could be if she were sitting it in the state of health she was in yesterday

Successive education departments have not chosen to recognise the full extent of the difficulties of a student with epilepsy.

If every education minister that has ignored the exam issue had live electrodes attached to their brain for 5 mins and then was punched hard in the face without a gum-shield (causing considerable damage to lips, teeth and tongue) and then was asked to prove all their years of knowledge in an exam paper 2 hours afterwards, would they consider this  to be a reasonable test of their own abilities?  

I suspect not!
