Pinhole Cameras

Not a great photo of a great bunch of students who have just finished their pinhole cameras created from masks. Yesterday we took our test shots with an appalling 0% success rate - maybe what I had promised as being possible just wasn't.
With some credibility possibly knocked today seemed to have a decent amount riding on it. With fingers tightly crossed back in the darkroom (science labs cupboard) the first exposures were dropped into the developer - within 10 seconds an image started to appear! An audible gasp of excitement rang out (the perfect pinhole magic moment) - and all sins were forgiven. High fives and the like were exchanged (I declined), and I believe there was a little 'whooping' too (its an international school). Nearly all managed to produce an image for the next lesson negative to positive!
