It was busy in Nottingham today: apparently the queen was visiting, but I didn't see her majesty, just the large number of high-vis types and piles of dismantled crash barriers she'd left in her wake. Noticed this statue gazing thoughtfully down onto George Street last night on my way to the Broadway and thought I'd pop back today for a blip. It's on the old Fothergill Watson offices building, still sadly disused, along with a lot of other statuary and Victorian gothic fol-de-rol - well worth stopping and looking up for a bit if you're passing. Oh, and last night I was on my way to see 'Prometheus', a film that is literally so bad in places that it's almost entertaining...
