Wet Grass Macro Abstract

Me, Matt and Andy had all taken a day off work to play golf at Manor House Castle Combe today but the weather forecast was for heavy rain all day. While it wasn't too bad when we left home it was getting heavier on route so we decided to cancel, despite actually getting to the venue. A pity as it's a stunning course and very challenging, though not worth spending a lot of money for in such conditions.

We decided to go back to our home course at Thornbury, about 35 minutes away, and managed 12 holes before heading for the 19th absolutely soaked through. We'll go back in summer next time!

Still, we had a great lunch in the club house and a relaxing afternoon at home. All is well.
