Dancing on The Mound

When I got off the bus on Princes Street I noticed a crowd gathered on The Mound beside the National Gallery, I wandered over and discovered there was a demonstration for the "Dunedin International Folk Dance Festival". There was a troupe from Normandy just starting (see my Extra photos which include a flying witch) and then another from Scotland, they were very lucky with the weather as there were a number of heavy showers of rain today but it stayed dry during their performances and even some sunshine!
