Disconsolate Pigeon

It rained all afternoon. This pigeon looked as fed up as we did, presumably puffed up to trap some warmth in the air between his feathers.

Look closely and you can see that he has his eyes closed, but he was alert enough to fly off when I opened the back door.

I took Basil to Nanpantan playing fields for a good run this morning before the rain began. We went to see Sue and Kal later in the morning.
