Memories

Whilst I've got the unusual pale mauve freesias, which coincidentally were amongst my Mothers favourite flowers, I thought I would colour co-ordinate themwith a picture of her tiny china shoe ornaments and also her ruby engagement ring.
The weather has been awful here today, beginning to rain mid morning and now easing off a little.   My son's partner and the grandchildren went camping today until the end of next week with a group of friends, I expect my son is glad he is at work!    It's something they do every year and I do feel for the children as they have really been looking forward to it.   It wasn't very pleasant driving home this evening with all the spray from the lorries heading towards Felixstowe Port.  I'd almost forgotten what it's like to drive in those conditions with all the lovely weather we've had of late.
