Emotional day

After all the upheaval and uncertainty of the last few years the second of six of our finance team left today, taking her redundancy and fortunately walking straight into another job. Nicola (on the left) has worked with us for 9 years and it's been an emotional day.

It was all a bit last minute as she was offered the job with an immediate start but we managed a bit of a collection so we could give her a leaving present, and got her a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from the company.

It's been a strange day all round as we have also swapped our old desks for some slightly newer ones which are surplus to requirements due to the impending building renovations. So all in all not much work done!
